- HIA Legal was founded by a senior Magic Circle banking and finance lawyer and a team of seasoned legal recruiters.
- Our mission was clear from the outset: to raise standards in legal recruitment by offering a more ethical, transparent, and personalised service. We have supported successful placements across the UK, US, Middle East, Singapore, and Australia since our founding.
2016-2021
- We established a strong presence with Magic Circle, Silver Circle, Am 200 Law, and leading international law firms, while building long-term candidate relationships and a reputation for a trusted, discreet service.
2022–2025
- We expanded our US practice and delivered 33% growth in 2025. This period saw strong placement activity at Senior Associate and Partner level across the UK, US, Middle East, Singapore, and Australia with our growing team of specialist recruiters. We also invested in LexQuest.ai, our proprietary AI market intelligence platform.
2026–Present
- Today, HIA Legal is a trusted advisor in top-tier legal recruitment. We are members of NALP, NALSC, ASA, and REC, and hold cybersecurity accreditation.
